Unizin is a non-profit consortium of 13 large, R1 higher education institutions committed to digital transformation and student success. The Unizin Data Platform (UDP) is a product developed by Unizin in collaboration with our members, that accelerates the ability to go from data, to information, to actionable insights as quickly as possible in pursuit of student success initiatives. The UDP resides in the Google Cloud Platform and adheres to a standards-based approach, where contextual data is modeled using the Common Education Data Standard (CEDS) as guidance, and event data is modeled according to 1EdTech’s Caliper standard.
This session will provide an overview of the UDP, as well as highlight a few select projects that illustrate how our members leverage the UDP to support various teaching, learning, and student success initiatives.
