May 17, 2024 – AI-ALOE held a meeting with its External Advisory Board (EAB), bringing together around 50 colleagues to discuss how AI is changing education. The meeting, both online and in-person, was a chance for everyone to share updates and ideas, on May 8, 2024.
During the meeting, team members presented their research on posters. This gave everyone a chance to see what projects were happening and what progress was being made.
One big idea discussed was how AI-ALOE can work more closely with companies. Board members suggested partnering with companies like Mathea and Duolingo to improve math and language learning. They also talked about teaming up with smaller businesses that share AI-ALOE’s goals.
The EAB is made up of nine experts chosen for their knowledge and experience. They help guide AI-ALOE’s work and make sure it stays on track.
Overall, the meeting showed AI-ALOE’s dedication to using AI to make education better. By working together with partners and staying focused on their goals, AI-ALOE is dedicated to making real progress in shaping the future of education.
