The National AI Institute for Adult Learning and Online Education (AI-ALOE) is proud to offer the Teaching Fellows Program, an exceptional opportunity for educators passionate about leveraging AI technologies to transform teaching and learning experiences. This fellowship empowers educators to participate in cutting-edge research studies at AI-ALOE, collaborating with our esteemed researchers and scientists to integrate AI solutions into their curricula. The Teaching Fellows Program is designed to achieve the following goals:
- Prepare, support, and empower educators to effectively use AI technologies in teaching and learning.
- Foster collaborative co-design of responsible AI technologies.
- Cultivate a vibrant community of educators engaged in the innovative use of AI for enhanced learning.
Program Activities
- Program Kickoff: Begin the journey by acquainting us with your course and students while delving into the world of AI technologies.
- Technology Training: Gain mastery of AI technologies through dedicated training sessions with ample time for questions and clarifications.
- Providing feedback to AI-ALOE researchers through meetings, surveys, interviews, or focus groups.
- Virtual Community of Educators and Researchers: Stay connected, seek guidance, and exchange ideas with an enthusiastic network of educators and researchers.
- Program Wrap-Up: Celebrate achievements, share lessons learned, and contribute to future research studies through brainstorming sessions.
