U.S. NSF AI-ALOE External Advisory Board member Mairéad Pratschke has been selected as a plenary speaker at the International Conference on Digitalization in Lifelong Learning, to be held in Shanghai in 2025.

The conference is jointly organized by the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning, the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, and Shanghai Open University. At this conference, global leaders will examine how digital innovation and artificial intelligence can transform the future of lifelong learning.

Global Dialogue on Inclusive and Sustainable Learning

Sessions will address critical challenges such as impartial access in aging societies, the recognition of skills and learning outcomes, and the creation of sustainable systems. The event underscores the urgency of shaping education that is open, human-centered and accessible to all in a rapidly changing global landscape.
