On July 27, 2026, U.S. Representative Lucy McBath visited the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute to meet with researchers from AI-ALOE. During the visit, she learned how AI-ALOE technologies are helping improve learning outcomes, expand workforce training opportunities, and support lifelong learning.
During the visit, AI-ALOE leaders discussed how artificial intelligence can help address workforce challenges by supporting reskilling, upskilling, and adult learning. They highlighted the institute’s growing impact across Georgia, where more than 50,000 learners have used AI-ALOE technologies since 2021, along with results from deployments in nursing education, reading and concept learning, and online computing courses.
By engaging with policymakers, AI-ALOE helps increase awareness of how AI-powered learning systems can address national challenges in education and workforce readiness.
